Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to give a quick update on how Baby Koroknay is doing. Today marks the 18th week of development and we had our 3rd doctor's appointment this past Monday (15th). Everything is great! We heard the heartbeat again and we also heard some movement as well (but I still can't feel anything). The heart rate is 148 which the doctor think it's a girl because it's high but she even admitted that it's an old wives' tale. I'm doing great as far as my health goes. I've been walking and doing minor weight lifting (don't worry....the doctor said I was allowed!) But I feel wonderful and I'm finally starting to show!
January 5th we will be able to find out the sex of the baby! So I will definitely keep you all informed on that visit.
Eric and I have a decision to make in the next month. My insurance is in dispute with BayCare Hospitals (which is practically every birthing hospital around us). This has caused us to explore other birthing options (all natural and water birth). We have a seminar January 6th that will help us decide. Please pray for us (and especially me) as we wisely make our decision. If you'd like more detail, I can explain later.
We hope you have a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year!
Love,
Eric, Brooke & Baby
